Adexa - Toronto Scavenger Hunt

Everyone had a fabulous time at the Scavenger Hunt yesterday! We received a lot of positive feedback, both from a teamwork and social perspective - I think many new friendships were forged yesterday.

Thank you for all of your help - our event was a huge success! We asked the teams to bring their cameras on the hunt, and we were surprised to see so many fun photos - everyone really got into the spirit, and it made everyone feel like a kid again.

AMEC Training and Development - Vancouver - 120 people

You have done it again! Thanks again for a highly successful team building event.

This year's scavenger hunt was enjoyed by all. The Great Vancouver Scavenger Hunt was a great choice for our group because everyone could participate on an equal footing and get to know Vancouver better.

Like last year, we found it easy from start to finish to plan the event with you. On the event date, the logistics were well-planned and everything went smoothly. Thank you for taking care of everything for us. It is nice to know that we can tell you what we want and you will make it happen and handle all the details.

Carrie and the rest of the staff did an excellent job and we were happy to see that they were also enjoying themselves as they worked hard to ensure our participants were all having fun.

Thank you again for your help!

Mary Hoekstra
General Manager / VP Finance

American Express Canada - Toronto - 50 people

For our team offsite, we wanter to put together a special team building exercise for the fifty plus participants. We approached Scavenger Hunt Canada and asked them to customize the experience for us to make it closely resemble the t.v. show "The Amazing Race" and they did an amazing job. They worked with us to make the trivia, assignments and photos relevant to our business and still within the boundaries of the game.

The organizers did a great job ensuring that the teams reached their checkpoints at the appropriate time and kept everyone motivated.

Feedback from our employees was positive - they felt it was a great way to bring people together from all organizational levels and get to know each other in an informal setting. Teams got competitive and wanted to win! They also had a great time learning more about their city.

We had a really positive experience working with Scavenger Hunt Canada and would recommend other groups use this as a terrific team building exercise.

Canada Post - Huntsville - 20 people

Scavenger Hunt Canada recently co-ordinated a highly successful scavenger hunt for us in Huntsville, Ontario.

Our group was meeting at a Muskoka resort and was looking for a team building activity that would be fun, interactive and could incorporate some company-specific content. We decided to participate in The Great Huntsville Scavenger Hunt, which was excellent and delivered on all of our requirements and expectations.

I got lots of positive comments that evening and a few more the next day from my colleagues - and boss! We were also pleased with all of the Scavenger Hunt Canada staff members as they were easy to work with, took care of all the details and helped customize the hunt for our team. Of particular note was the Scavenger Hunt Canada staff member in Huntsville who got everything to run smoothly for the hunt itself.

I recommend Scavenger Hunt Canada for any group that is looking for an engaging and worthwhile team building session.

Creo - Vancouver - 50 people

I am writing this letter of reference on behalf of Scavenger Hunt Canada who led our team on "The Great Vancouver Scavenger Hunt".

Our sales managers came to Vancouver from all over the Asia-Pacific region and spent most of the week in a hotel meeting room. The idea of a scavenger hunt struck us as a perfect opportunity to engage in a fun team building activity during which our group would experience as much of Vancouver as possible in the short time that we had allocated for a social activity.

We worked with Andrew at Scavenger Hunt Canada who helped us plan the logistics of the hunt including special requests such a lunchtime checkpoint and making sure that the hunt could be completed by people whose first language was not English.

Our participants enjoyed both the hunt and the awards ceremony that followed it. We recommend Scavenger Hunt Canada's services to anyone who is looking for an enjoyable, active and competitive team activity.

Hanson Brick - Ottawa - 35 people

On behalf of the Canadian sales team at Hanson Brick, I would like to personally thank you for the excellent work provided by you and your team in Ottawa on June 9, 2004. We chose a scavenger hunt because we believed it would be an excellent way for our team to strengthen relationships and get to know each other better and I am happy to say that we were not mistaken.

I was wondering how the event would go when I saw the rainy weather, however the contagious enthusiasm of your staff member Lisa set the tone for the event. I was impressed by how much fun our group had despite the weather. In fact, the rain didn't slow us down at all!

We were also pleased by your ability to understand our unique team development objectives, build these objectives into your program and connect the scavenger hunt activity to these objectives in a meaningful and useful debriefing discussion.

I am certain that other groups that are considering your services will be well rewarded by the experience as we were. Thank you again for the first-rate team building experience. This was the best team building program that we have ever had!

Imperial Oil - Toronto - 45 people

Scavenger Hunt Canada ran "The Great Toronto Scavenger Hunt" for our team. It was a very successful event. Our group was stimulated by the interesting content and challenge of the event. The staff were professional and a pleasure to deal with and the materials were well put-together. Overall, the feedback from my group was enthusiastically positive!

One of the nicest things about the event was that it took very little planning effort on our part. To know that a team building supplier will take care of all the details is comforting and a great time-saver.

If you are looking for an excellent choice for your next team building event, you should consider Scavenger Hunt Canada. This was a perfect activity for our group. It will likely work well for your group too.

Kraft Canada - Kananaskis - 80 people

I would like to thank you for the excellent job you and your team did in organizing and running The Great Kananaskis Scavenger Hunt for our sales team.

We were looking for an activity that would incorporate fun into our meeting while utilizing skills people can learn from one another and bring back to the office. I thought that the Scavenger Hunt that you ran was a great activity. It encouraged open communication, cooperation, creativity, and team effort. Overall, everyone had a wonderful time!

Team building events like this are a great opportunity for employees to learn to work together by utilizing people's different strengths in a non-formal working atmosphere. Events like this also give people a chance to get to know people they wouldn't normally have a chance to work with. We place a high value on team building in our organization.

From an organizational standpoint we were pleased both with your level of service and with the way the event was run. We found you to be helpful in envisioning and creating the event as well as working with our special requests. At the event, everything happened on time, there were enough staff members to keep things moving at a good pace and we were pleased with your level of professionalism.

I would encourage other groups to use your services and hope that we have the opportunity to use them ourselves in the near future.

Scott Hodson
Regional Sales Director - Foodservice

Manulife Financial - Toronto - 20 people

It's taken me more time than I would have liked, but I was finally able to drop you a line to say thank you for all your effort in putting together what turned out to be a most successful scavenger hunt for our group.

Each of the participants (some of whom are scavenger hunt officianados) agreed that the mix of crosswords, trivia and the hunt itself, added immensely to the thrill of the hunt. The visitors we had from Boston said that it was also a terrific opportunity to learn about Toronto.

If ever we plan on running a scavenger hunt again, or if anyone asks us for a recommendation - your organization is it. Again, many thanks.

Nova Scotia Liquor Commission - Halifax Scavenger Hunt

We had our team event yesterday and it was a blast!! We ended up with six teams of six (had to collapse a few teams) and they had so much fun! We formed the teams a couple of days ahead of time and the fun started by forming names and thinking of their strategy (hard to do not knowing the details). It really accomplished what we intended – to have fun and to continue to build the team. Some of the team names were: Baldy and the Shines, the Bad Ass Posse and Mistress Munroe and her Malicious Minions.

Our meeting place following the scavenger hunt was a room within the Citadel Historic Museum – a great venue given the overall theme of the Scavenger Hunt. We had some munchies and a few drinks and announced the winners, losers and an MVP from each team.

I’m so glad I found Scavenger Hunt Anywhere – it was a huge help.
