Decatur Scavenger Hunt
Thank you for your interest in our Decatur corporate scavenger hunts. This is an excellent way for your group to get to know Decatur better while participating in a unique and enjoyable team building activity.
Groups progressing through our Decatur team building scavenger hunts are challenged to collect information by visiting popular sightseeing locations and also well-hidden local secrets. Teams also seek to collect up to 20 diverse objects from a list we give them. As an additional extra, teams are given cameras with instructions to take pictures of their team accomplishing certain tasks and visiting specific locations.
Here is some information about our program in Decatur: In Decatur, sometimes referred to as the soybean capital of the world, the scavenger hunt takes place in the downtown area and incorporates Decatur's interesting history, architecture and various points of interest. Decatur features many tree-lined streets, older restored homes, historic residential districts, and restored downtown commercial areas. As part of the hunt, teams will of course visit Transfer House, an early-twentieth-century Victorian structure which can be found in the city's Central Park.
Some examples of objects that participants in our Decatur corporate scavenger hunts are challenged to collect are: a snow globe and a love letter written by a stranger. Photographs to be taken include a bad parking job and the team re-enacting a scene from a Shakespearian tragedy, preferably on a stage.
Want some examples of what your group will have to do? Teams participating in our Decatur team building scavenger hunts must try to collect a bumper sticker with a heart on it and something, other than paper, that says Decatur on it. With cameras, they may be on the lookout for an exceptional view or someone with pink hair. Contact us for more examples.
