Halifax Treasure Hunt
Scavenger Hunt Anywhere has been providing Halifax treasure hunts and scavenger hunts for many years. Because of our company's name, we are often asked whether we provide Halifax treasure hunts or even, what is the difference between the two. The answer to the first question is, of course! The answer to the second question requires a bit of explanation: Our Halifax corporate treasure hunts are comprised of a number of clues that lead teams along a set route, past various checkpoints where they collect additional clues which guide teams toward their final destination. Because we don't want to exclude group members that may be less physically fit than others, we ensure that the activity is designed such that the team with the best planning and problem-solving skills will win, rather than the fastest team. As a result our Halifax corporate treasure hunts are less "race-like", so that everyone has an equal chance of winning. Our scavenger hunts are built around information and objects that groups must collect. The clues are presented in random order so each team will use a different route and strategy to accomplish their goal. This is the more popular of the two types. When we refer to our programs, we generally call them "scavenger hunts". Our Halifax corporate treasure hunts looks a little bit different than a scavenger hunt. Whichever kind you like better, contact us and we will be sure to offer you a program to suit your needs. Here are some more details about our Halifax treasure hunts: Your group will visit and learn about such sites as The Citadel, The Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, St. Paul's Church, The Grand Parade, City Hall, Province House, The Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, the waterfront walkway, Summit Plaza, North America's oldest operating Naval Clock, The Old Burying Ground and The Public Gardens. |
