Portland Treasure Hunt
Scavenger Hunt Anywhere has been a provider of fun and well-organized Portland treasure hunts for many years. Contact us to find out how we can help you plan a team building treasure hunt or scavenger hunt for your corporate group. We are often asked about the difference between scavenger hunts and treasure hunts. Here is the difference: Our Portland corporate treasure hunts have been developed in a way that leads teams along a pre-established route. At checkpoints, teams must perform certain tasks to earn their next clue. Teams arrive at their final destination having solved a number of challenges along the way. A treasure hunt is more like a race than a scavenger hunt. By comparison, our scavenger hunts are based on lists of information and objects to be collected. The tasks are presented in no particular order which means that teams set their own routes and prioritize the tasks that they will try to complete in the allotted time. When we refer to our programs, we call them "scavenger hunts". They inherently have some characteristics of Portland corporate treasure hunts and if you like the idea of a treasure hunt better, then please let us know and we will show you how your program can be designed in a way that best exactly meets your needs. Here are some more details about our Portland treasure hunts: Downtown Portland is perfect for a team building scavenger hunt as your group collectively learns more about the city's history, interesting architecture, public art, fountains, parks and of course, bridges. Our hunt here runs through Downtown, Old Town and Chinatown and incorporates these locations of interest: Pioneer Courthouse Square, Skidmore Fountain, the Chinatown Gate, City Hall and even a five-sided building. |
