Here is the difference:Our San Francisco corporate treasure hunts have been developed in a way that leads teams along a pre-established route. At checkpoints, teams must perform certain tasks to earn their next clue. Teams arrive at their final destination having solved a number of challenges along the way. A treasure hunt is more like a race than a scavenger hunt.
Our scavenger hunts are built around information and objects that groups must collect. The clues are presented in random order so each team will use a different route and strategy to accomplish their goal. This is the more popular of the two types.
Regardless of which kind of program we are planning, we generally refer to our programs as scavenger hunts.
