Waikiki Treasure Hunt
Scavenger Hunt Anywhere can help organize one or more successful Waikiki treasure hunts for your company. When you contact us, we will help you envision your event and help you plan a memorable team building corporate treasure hunt or scavenger hunt. Our clients often ask us about the difference between treasure hunts and scavenger hunts. The difference is as follows: Our Waikiki corporate treasure hunts are comprised of a number of clues that lead teams along a set route, past various checkpoints where they collect additional clues which guide teams toward their final destination. Because we don't want to exclude group members that may be less physically fit than others, we ensure that the activity is designed such that the team with the best planning and problem-solving skills will win, rather than the fastest team. As a result our Waikiki corporate treasure hunts are less "race-like", so that everyone has an equal chance of winning. By comparison, our scavenger hunts are based on lists of information and objects to be collected. The tasks are presented in no particular order which means that teams set their own routes and prioritize the tasks that they will try to complete in the allotted time. Regardless of which kind of program we are planning, we generally refer to our programs as scavenger hunts. Our Waikiki corporate treasure hunts is slightly different than our scavenger hunt, so when you contact us, please let us know what you have in mind for your event. We will then work closely with you to make sure your event appeals to your group. Here is some information about our Waikiki treasure hunts: Waikiki is without a doubt the best place in Honolulu to do a team building scavenger hunt. While scavenging through the area, groups will learn about the history of this surfing hotspot while visiting the various parks, monuments and sculptures found in the area. The hunt takes place mostly along the beach, Kuhio Ave and Kalakaua Ave. and is a quick and entertaining way for your group to experience the area before their evening luau! |
