Waterloo Scavenger Hunt
Thank you for your interest in our Waterloo corporate scavenger hunts. This is an excellent way for your group to get to know Waterloo better while participating in a unique and enjoyable team building activity.
How they work: Our Waterloo team building scavenger hunts challenge teams to explore the local area while completing three types of tasks. Information tasks are designed to guide teams to various tourist locations and may be of two types: local trivia questions or location-specific questions. Location-specific questions can only be answered by visiting a specific place. In scavenger tasks, teams are given a list of hard-to-find miscellaneous objects and they must collect as many as possible. Photograph tasks challenge teams to visit various locations or to accomplish specific tasks while capturing it all on film.
About our Waterloo scavenger hunts: Downtown Waterloo has been revitalized bringing a new spirit to the downtown core providing an excellent location for a scavenger hunt. This area combines the beauty of nature with the short walk to Waterloo Park with the urban downtown feel. Landmarks include Waterloo Park, Waterloo Town Square, the Canadian Clay & Glass Museum, City Hall, Seagrams Museum, the Waterloo Public Library and more.
Some examples of objects that participants in our Waterloo corporate scavenger hunts are challenged to collect are: a snow globe and a love letter written by a stranger. Photographs to be taken include a bad parking job and the team re-enacting a scene from a Shakespearian tragedy, preferably on a stage.
Here are some examples from our Waterloo team building scavenger hunts: Collected objects include a portrait of a team member and a flexible straw (harder to find than you think!). Photograph tasks include: taking a photo of a famous celebrity or politician and the team doing tai chi in a tranquil location.
