Winnipeg Scavenger Hunt
Thank you for your interest in our Winnipeg corporate scavenger hunts. This is an excellent way for your group to get to know Winnipeg better while participating in a unique and enjoyable team building activity.
How they work: Our Winnipeg team building scavenger hunts challenge teams to explore the local area while completing three types of tasks. Information tasks are designed to guide teams to various tourist locations and may be of two types: local trivia questions or location-specific questions. Location-specific questions can only be answered by visiting a specific place. In scavenger tasks, teams are given a list of hard-to-find miscellaneous objects and they must collect as many as possible. Photograph tasks challenge teams to visit various locations or to accomplish specific tasks while capturing it all on film.
About our Winnipeg scavenger hunts: Welcome to Winnipeg, the heart of Western Canada. Manitoba is known as the friendly province and this definitely holds true in downtown Winnipeg. The best scavengers rely on the help of strangers and lots of cheerful help is available here. Your group will explore the downtown area and will visit Union Station, Market Square, the Exchange District, the Commodity Exchange, Historic Selkirk Ave., City Hall, the famous intersection of Portage and Main, Manitoba Museum and much more.
Some examples of objects that participants in our Winnipeg corporate scavenger hunts are challenged to collect are: a snow globe and a love letter written by a stranger. Photographs to be taken include a bad parking job and the team re-enacting a scene from a Shakespearian tragedy, preferably on a stage.
Here are some examples from our Winnipeg team building scavenger hunts: Collected objects include a portrait of a team member and a flexible straw (harder to find than you think!). Photograph tasks include: taking a photo of a famous celebrity or politician and the team doing tai chi in a tranquil location.
