Fort Myers is known as the historic part of Lee County. Located along the scenic Caloosahatchee River, the city is an interesting blend of young and old. Venues that are part of the scavenger hunt include Historic First Street, Lee County Courthouse, Thomas Edison's Winter Estate, Edison's Laboratory, Ford's Winter Residence and the Historic Burroughs Home.
