Fort Myers is known as the historic part of Lee County. Located along the scenic Caloosahatchee River, the city is an interesting blend of young and old. Venues that are part of the scavenger hunt include Historic First Street, Lee County Courthouse, Thomas Edison’s Winter Estate, Edison’s Laboratory, Ford’s Winter Residence and the Historic Burroughs Home. All of these sites make for an excellent scavenger hunt. As an alternative, participate in our Scavenger Olympiad at one of the area’s many beach resorts.
