Shanghai Scavenger Hunt - The Bund

Shanghai China is a vibrant and modern city. Talk about photo opportunities! Do your hunt in The Bund, The French Concession or in Pudong near the river. Or, if you are staying in a different area of town, we can likely create a hunt for you.

In The Bund, the colonial riverfront area of old Shanghai, your group will experience the numerous surprisingly-beautiful historical buildings along the River. The walkway along the river has been recently revitalized and is a great place for photographs!

The French Concession was once called the Paris of the East and is one of Shanghai’s most interesting neighborhoods. Xintiandi is a pedestrian-only area and perfect for a scavenger hunt, featuring refurbished shikumen houses, narrow alleys and stone courtyards. The adjacent Fuxing Park is not to be missed for its beautiful flowers and interesting people.

Pudong is also a suitable place for your Shanghai scavenger hunt. It is the most modern part of town and includes the odd-looking Pearl TV Tower, a nice walkway along the river, Jinmao Tower featuring the world’s highest hotel and more.

Take your pick and we’ll put together a fantastic program for your group!

Here are some sample Shanghai scavenger hunt tasks:

Looking across the River from The Bund, you will see a building that looks like a bicycle helmet. Take a photo of a team member set up in a way that looks like he or she is wearing the helmet.

Take a photo of team members sitting at a Mah Jong table in Fuxing Park.

Take a photo of your team on a moving walkway in Pudong.
