Corporate Outdoor Team Building Activities Banff

banff-team-building

The town of Banff, Alberta is a great location for a scavenger hunt at any time of year. Situated in Banff National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the town is a great place to learn about the history of Canada. Your group will discover some of the renowned museums and art galleries in Banff as well as the historic and beautiful Banff Springs Hotel.

The natural beauty of the area is breathtaking and your group is also likely to see some wildlife – if they are lucky, they will come face to face with an elk. If they are really lucky, maybe they will find Bigfoot! Whatever happens, your group will love this active and enjoyable team building activity!

The following map shows the approximate scavenger hunt area in the town of Banff.

To give you a better idea of the area in which the scavenger hunt takes place, here are some of the venues that your group will pass by during the activity:

The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, 405 Spray Ave. – This location is a bit of a distance from the business area of the town, so sometimes teams elect not to visit this one.

The Banff Visitor Information Centre – 224 Banff Ave. This is a great place to take photos!

Canada Place and the Cascade Gardens – A short walk from downtown and a fantastic place to take some of the photos required in the scavenger hunt.

The Whyte Museum, 111 Bear St. The group won’t go into the museum during this program but they will see if from the outside and perhaps answer a question or two there.

Banff Town Hall, 110 Bear St. Right across from the museum, again, no entry, but a good place for some photos.

Other sites the group will see during this fabulous activity are the fire station, various art galleries shops and interesting hotels and lodges, all of which make for good scavenger hunt trivia and photo opportunities! Contact us to learn more.
